So, what is Techfest?

Is it IIT Bombay's annual science and technology festival and the biggest of it's kind in Asia? Is it an event that attracts 15,000 students from over 700 colleges? An event that takes more than 9 months and over a 150 team meetings to conceptualize and execute? Is it the team? Or is it a family? And although I have tried to answer this question a lot of times, I could never come up with a satisfactory answer. After umpteen attempts, I have realised that it is not possible to put in words what Techfest means to all of us.
